Seussical

This year’s Condon School musical was Seussical. Brendan’s part was Sour Kangaroo – sassy and sparkly. Bren had a great time making the part his own (wig and all) and having fun with all his school theater friends. We are forever thankful that he has such great opportunities at his school!

Easter

I had minor surgery a week before Easter and was recovering the actual week of Easter so much of it was a blur. But like all family holidays, we spent this one with family. And Brendan getting to wear a bunny costume to make Emilee laugh!

Circus

For many years we have gone to the circus with Chris’ parents. This year was another trip – and we enjoyed it like so many other years!

Aidan’s Concert

Aidan is loving music. He performed with his school band in the Spring Concert and with the Junior Jazz Band (Due Band). He plans to participate this summer in a music program at school to continue. It’s so fun to see him enjoying learning something new!

March

14.

Aidan is 14. We are not sure how that happened. It feels like we were just celebrating his 4th birthday! Soon enough we will have ourselves an official high schooler!

Great Wolf Lodge

Saint Patrick’s Day in Southie is a very messy day. We decided to get away and go to Great Wolf Lodge. Even more fun – going with cousins! The kids enjoyed the water rides, activities, freedom of moving around on their own. It was a fun way to escape and have some family time. As cool as the boys think they are and as “over” as they may be with hanging out with us, having Emilee around makes it fun for everyone!

Pax East

For Aidan’s birthday this year he asked to attend PAX East with his friends. The five of them spent the day playing video games, looking at new video games and taking in all of the cosplay. They most especially liked being on their own and asked to do it again next year!

Puerto Rico

A lot of factors went into planning for this year’s family vacation. We knew February school vacation week would be a good choice since for the first time ever Nicole didn’t have to work and/or Brendan was in a show.

Last year we went to Italy – an adventure. This year we decided would be a vacation. Also known as beach, pool and no plans. Even better for a February trip.

Puerto Rico was a top choice because we wanted to support tourism there as the island continued to recover from Hurricane Maria in 2017. Brendan has clear memories friends shared during Merrily We Roll Along about the devastation and lack of relief and resources.

We were lucky that the Parisi’s also wanted to get away! We spent time relaxing and swimming. And getting sunburns. We stayed in Dorado which was beautiful and took a day trip on a boat to a private island. It was the perfect escape. We also celebrated GiGi’s 6th birthday too!
