Boston to Bermuda, Party of 19
Last year the kids loved our family vacation to London. More than once they mentioned how they wished that the next vacation we could invite more of our family and friends. So this year we let everyone know what our plan was- to take a cruise to Bermuda. Our group ended up including 19 friends and family.
The ship was amazing- we had a “penthouse” with lots of space for all of us (and a balcony so that Bren could sing). There were lots of activities and delicious food too.
The highlight was Bermuda. We loved the pink sand and clear water. We also loved out tour of the Crystal Caves.
It was a fun and relaxing vacation – different from the adventure of last summer. But what made it the most fun was enjoying it with friends and family.
End of the School Year
Another year has come and gone and somehow fourth grade and second grade are over.
Fourth grade fro Aidan was a tough year. With a substitute teacher most of the year, Aidan found it hard to feel settled. He made a few new friends and found things that interested him, but has said this year hasn’t been his favorite. He’s looking forward to fifth grade and a more consistent year.
Brendan loved second grade. He had a fantastic teacher and loved all his friends. He worked hard and made a lot of progress!
With eight snow days this year, the last day of school was June 29th. The kids’ last day was the 26th (since we were leaving for Bermuda). On their last day of school we were swimming at the beach in Bermuda.
