Email from Brendan’s teacher after Day 5 of Middle School:
“The other day we were talking about how our brains can grow when we learn and I was demonstrating with a sponge in water and Bren just quietly at his table said “Like a beauty blender.” I absolutely lost it. ”

Here we go! Two middle schoolers!

When Brendan met Cameron, he knew right away they would be be friends. They were doubling in Merrily and got to spend a lot of time together at rehearsals. When the show began they left each other notes in the dressing room and made plans to meet between matinee shows.
They were able to stay in touch and then were together again for the show’s awards and a few auditions.
But they repeatedly asked for a day to hang out together and play. And they finally got it. Through texting and facetime, they planned the perfect day.
Brendan brought his American Girl dolls (with hair in curlers) to Cam’s house. Together with Cam’s American Girl Dolls, they costumed and made up the dolls. They cast them and had them perform the first act of Heather’s the Musical.
After lunch they watched most of the movie Love, Simon.
Find your tribe, hang on tight. And when you get a day to enjoy something you both love, enjoy it.
