The first play Brendan was in at 4th Church was Beauty and the Beast. He was almost 5 and wanted to be Belle. He was a spoon and villager. But learned every line from the show. We even have this video (and this one) of him rehearsing.

Bren’s birthday was a week after the show and his birthday wish came true- the Belle dress.

I also loved the movie as a middle school kid, so hearing a new live action movie was coming out- and Audra McDonald would be in it- meant a special opening day trip to the movie.

It was great!
