This summer flew by! Maybe because it was so much fun and there was such great weather (minus a few heatwaves).  We traveled to Sesame Street and Storyland.  We had lots of fun at the beach, museum trips, day trips and family adventures.  The boys also enjoyed time with friends at camps.  We have lots of great memories and tons of pictures!

A perfect ending to our great summer was to go back to one of our favorite summer places- York Beach- for some family pictures taken by my friend Nicole (Nicole Burke Photography).  Check them out on Facebook!

Life is Good.

What is Big Wheels?  In short, a bunch of adults racing not just Big Wheels but modified Big Wheels.  The first Big Wheel races were held in 2008.  This year they returned- with a vengeance!  Chris spent hours and hours (and money!) on his Big Wheel.  We are very proud of his third place finish!!

Team O’Brien was represented with T shirts, face paint and spirit!  Aidan got to start the races and even raced his plasma car against the winners!

We ventured down to Wellfleet to see Uncle Richard and Jim.  It is so beautiful there!  The boys loved the water.  We even saw a famous neighbor’s house!!!

Aidan was concerned about the lack of cross walks and used some twigs to create a cross walk- to be safe.  Aidan also tried to find acorns to plant a tree- directly blocking the beautiful view.

Brendan on the other hand loved the seaweed.  But was not fond of the dogs we met swimming.

Our perfect day ended with a cookout.  Absolutely perfect.
