Boys are boys

On our way to Eagle Mountain House, Aidan had to go the bathroom.  Of course there was no place around so Chris did the most logical thing- pulled over by the side of the road.  Something about peeing outside made this the highlight of the day for Aidan.

And the cool kids in the car 🙂

Eagle Mountain House and Storyland

We traveled to New Hampshire a few weekends ago to Eagle Mountain House and our first trip to Storyland.

A little bit of history on Eagle Mountain House.  This is a place Chris visited often with childhood friends- the children of his parents friends.  This weekend was a reunion of sorts of the “second generation.”  Aidan and Brendan and Emilia and Henry are now the third generation!  It was a great weekend!  In addition to catching up and having a great dinner (almost 30 people!) we got to go to Stroyland.

The boys loved Storyland!  They remembered all the great nursery rhymes and fairy tales.  I think the best part was that they were with their friends!

Organization

It is no secret that I love organization.  It is also no secret that Aidan takes after me in this regard.  Once Brendan finished potty training, we knew we would be reorganizing the boys room.  The answer was of course- IKEA!

So after figuring out what we wanted and space issues and putting it together (Chris)- we had this awesome new bookshelf.  Standing back to marvel and our new organized kids’ bedroom, I silently thought “the boxes should be labeled.”  No sooner did I finish my thought then my wonderful mini-me said the same thing out loud.  I love him!
