Brendan decided he wants to play the piano. It may be because Ms. Shannon who helps with drama is the teacher, but it may also be that he is interested in the arts in general. At any rate he has loved piano lessons.
Aidan just finished his second year of violin. He is not a fan of practicing but playing seems to come very naturally. He does love performing though.
Both boys did great at their concerts!
It was a fast eight weeks at drama but the show came together wonderfully. Aidan was back at drama, and he loved hanging out with the other boys as vultures. Brendan was a snake. He loved trying to be mean but could not help but smile while trying to be devious.
There are two great things I love about the boys participating in drama. The friendships are the thing they take away most and being with kids who like the same things they do. But there is also the confidence they gain being up on stage, and the sense of teamwork they feel helping friends with lines and learning their own.
Once again they had special guests in the audience and that makes them so proud. And that pride shines through!
Aidan made his First Communion. Â It was a really nice day. Â And he looked so grown up.
There is so much family tradition in that church- Chris and I have made all our sacraments there. Â As did my grandmother, mother and all four of our sisters. Â Chris’ dad also made his First Communion there. Â It was also very sweet to see children my elementary school classmates with Aidan.
