Last year in single digits

Aidan is 9.  How did that happen?  I put this video together for him to celebrate his birthday.  He loved it!

Aidan 3-1

His request for his birthday was to have his favorite friends celebrate at a trampoline park. You may notice the two girls he is friends with are both wearing green- Aidan’s favorite color.  Everyone had so much fun!  As part of his gift, he now has a laptop (Chris’ old one).  He is really getting into using it and seems like such a really big kid when he sits and plays with it.

Sigh.

Big news for Aidan!

Two very cool things happened for Aidan recently!

The first happened a few months ago when Boston Ballet visited his school.  Boston Ballet has a great program called City Dance.  Third graders in Boston Public Schools are chosen to participate.  The program runs for 10 weeks.  Students leave class one morning a week and take a bust to Boston Ballet’s studios.  They have a ballet class and another enrichment dance class.  Boston Ballet provides everything for the program.  Aidan was chosen to participate!!  We went to the family orientation and it sounds so amazing.  His former book buddy from first grade participated and still continues to dance with Boston Ballet.

On the same day we were planning to go to the family orientation, Aidan received a letter in the mail saying he placed into the Advanced Work Program for fourth grade.  He is super excited about that too!

So proud of my well rounded, enthusiastic young man!
