It’s school vacation week. This year I am working most of the week, as is Chris, and the kids have exciting plans that include adventures with grandparents. Thank God for the Village.

For more than an hour now the kids have been at the table playing with play dough. Uninterrupted work time to use their imaginations and work together. Very nice start. They are creating a restaurant and making lots of foods. Mostly foods I can never get them to eat but at least they recognize them.

I like that both of them can spend lots of time like this. We can go hours without television. Hopefully today will be one of those days!

January! OMG how quickly January happened!

Our post holiday fun and parties continued into the first week of January. We then moved seamlessly back into our routines. The kids loved being back with their friends and having all their activities. They really thrive having routines.

One special thing that was added to January was skiing (Brendan) and snowboarding (Aidan) at Blue Hills. The boys participated in lessons for three weeks and loved it!

Soon enough they will be ready to go to Tahoe with Daddy!! (haha!)
