We go to a lot of plays. Â We got to see Bren’s friend Brendan in two plays recently- as Peter in Peter Pan and as Ugly in Honk!. Â And Brendan is a great kid who is always happy to have one of his biggest fans in the audience!

My old friend Kerry has her own photography business. Â She is currently on maternity leave for a bit after having her second child. Â She asked for mom friends to contribute stories for a feature she would call “Motherhood Mondays.” Â I offered to write about the topic that I am most often asked about- gender roles and Brendan.

My Valentine’s Day this year was my darling Brendan. Â Our date was a special night at Disney on Ice. Â He loved it! Â The theme this year was celebrations. Â There were performances celebrating seasons and holidays. Â Valentine’s Day was the princesses. Â He sang all the songs- and told me not to sing. Â He studied the sets and props and loved the production value. Â It was a fun night.
My observations- I’m not sure why there were so many adults without children. Â On Valentine’s Day. Â I’m not sure, or maybe I am exactly sure, why the beer concessions were open.
It was a fun way to start off vacation week and I really do enjoy special time with Bren!
