Somedays you think you are doing ok as a parent. Lots of days you remember all the things that went wrong. Today was a day we high five-d and patted ourselves on the back for being awesome parents.

After school we went to the Scooper Bowl. And said this was “dinner.” All you can eat ice cream, go anywhere on City Hall Plaza to get what you want.  Yup. We rule. (In fairness they did have sandwiches before we left)

Then we were off to the boys first “big kid” concert- Weird Al. I’m not sure at first they knew what to make of going to a concert (and we were last row in the balcony), but they soon got into the singing. And sang along to their favorite songs. Brendan did fall asleep before the end though!

We had new family pictures taken! I especially love that we got to take them in the Boston Public Library (and outside the Library) on such a nice spring day!  We had so much fun!

I love Spring Break. It’s a fun week we usually spend doing things around the city. This year was no exception! Here are some of the fun things that we did!

Escape the Room- our friends Brendan and Renu told us about this. 10 people locked in a room solving riddles and figuring out clues to locate the key that gets you out of the room. We were not successful but had a lot of fun! We are looking forward to the next time we can do this!

Sky Zone with friends- need I say more?

No vacation would be complete without a theater trip. This one was to Shrek the Musical. After Shrek the boys had their first experience with fondue. And LOVED it.

We end each vacation with a special breakfast recapping all the fun things we did and of course the chill time. Because there was plenty of that! Love the days in pajamas and enjoying playing at home!
