So like every other night at dinner Aidan announces he needs to go to the bathroom.<\/p>\n
Aidan: Mom why didn’t you give me underwear today?
\nMe: What do you mean? You get your own underwear and socks out of the draw everyday.
\nAidan: Oh, well I didn’t wear underwear today. Because you didn’t give me any.
\nMe: What?!<\/p>\n
I go and check, sure enough- no underwear. So I can upstairs (thankfully it was not a school day but a Nana and Papa day).<\/p>\n
Me: So were there any issues with Aidan and the bathroom today?
\nNana: No, why is everything ok?
\nMe: I just realized Aidan never put underwear on this morning.
\nNana: Yeah I noticed that and asked him why he didn’t have underwear on and he said Mommy said it is a hot day so I didn’t need to wear them. He told Papa the same thing.<\/p>\n
Lots of laughing as we realize we are being played by the 4 year old.<\/p>\n
Me: Aidan did you tell Nana and Papa I said you didn’t have to wear underwear becuase it was hot out?
\nAidan: Yes
\nMe: Did I say that?
\nAidan: No
\nMe: Do you realize if you tell stories people are not going to believe you when you tell them things?
