We don&#8217;t know how the summer will go- how busy Bren&#8217;s theater schedule or any of our schedules will be. So the first nice day we could, we took advantage of the perfect weather and went to our favorite place. I love that we have this family tradition. But between this trip and the end of school the realization of how old the kids are getting is really setting in.<\/p>\n<p>I read an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scarymommy.com\/why-im-not-excited-school-is-starting\/\">article<\/a> about how parents have 18 summers,18 years of memories. I&#8217;d like to think beyond high school they will still want to keep some family traditions alive. But really looking at Aidan, 18 summer is only 5 more. Ug.
