Months ago I heard that Greg Berlanti, on the producers and writers from Dawson’s Creek, was going to direct a teen movie featuring a gay love story. Berlanti has gone on to do lots and lots of other things but Dawson’s Creek will always be my favorite. A teen love story featuring a gay character is something that had not been done. I was interested both in the movie and how it would be received.<\/p>\n
Then Bren found out about it.<\/p>\n
He knew all the details- the book it was based on, the actors in the movie and when it was coming to theaters. He insisted we needed to see it. I learned through social media that there would be a preview in Boston and took the boys to see it.<\/p>\n
Needless to say- it was great.
