Today was a really fun day! \u00c2\u00a0We went on a guided tour day trip of Kent. \u00c2\u00a0There were several stops along the way. \u00c2\u00a0It was relaxed and enjoyable and the kids said it was one of their favorite days (Harry Potter and Matilda are still their faves of course).<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0911\"<\/a>We started early and headed to Leeds Castle. \u00c2\u00a0It is a beautiful castle. \u00c2\u00a0We hopped off the bus and were greeted with drinks of meed! \u00c2\u00a0The kids were given “eye spy” cards to look for things in the various rooms. \u00c2\u00a0It’s amazing how long ago things were built! \u00c2\u00a0After the castle tour we took a walk outside and got to wander in a maze. \u00c2\u00a0It was harder than you might think! \u00c2\u00a0There was also a play ground. \u00c2\u00a0It was a very family friendly place. \u00c2\u00a0There was a ride that looked like fun that I suggested we all join in on. \u00c2\u00a0Chris warned me that it was for kids, but we tried it anyway. \u00c2\u00a0I fell off. \u00c2\u00a0I think I may now have a broken or badly bruised finger. \u00c2\u00a0Oh well. \u00c2\u00a0Lots of laughs!<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0942\"<\/a>The next stop was the Canterbury Cathedral. \u00c2\u00a0We started by having lunch in Canterbury. \u00c2\u00a0Chris finally had his fish and chips! \u00c2\u00a0The Cathedral was beautiful. \u00c2\u00a0The boys loved exploring and seeing how old things were – thousands of years old!!\u00c2\u00a0\"IMG_0958\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Dover Beach and the White Cliffs were next. \u00c2\u00a0On a clear day you can see to France. \u00c2\u00a0It is the start point to swim the English Channel. \u00c2\u00a0The boys put their feet in and skipped rocks. \u00c2\u00a0Thankfully no one fell in!\"IMG_0971\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We drove through Greenwich to catch a ferry boat back to the city. \u00c2\u00a0It was a cool way to see the city! \u00c2\u00a0The boat was super nice!<\/p>\n
