They think this year it was just too cold, and it was. \u00c2\u00a0But there were other reasons. \u00c2\u00a0It has changed too much and taken a turn that just doesn’t feel like the family event I grew up with. \u00c2\u00a0There is the politics- who can and cannot march, who is “right” and who is “wrong.” \u00c2\u00a0There is also a younger population who come- and with them lots of drinking (and not enough clothing). \u00c2\u00a0It’s just not the same. \u00c2\u00a0It’s just not what I want a nine and six year old to see.<\/p>\n
The boys dressed in their sweaters for Church and then we came home and had a fun day watching movies and “chillaxin.” \u00c2\u00a0It was a fun day. \u00c2\u00a0We will see what we decide next year.<\/p>\n
