{"id":1352,"date":"2013-10-02T19:49:42","date_gmt":"2013-10-02T23:49:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/?p=1352"},"modified":"2013-10-02T19:54:28","modified_gmt":"2013-10-02T23:54:28","slug":"life-is-good","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/?p=1352","title":{"rendered":"Life is Good"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I realized recently that several of my Instagram photos have the caption &#8220;Life is Good&#8221; mostly because I genuinely feel that way. \u00c2\u00a0I have a great life and a great family. \u00c2\u00a0There is of course also a company with the same name. \u00c2\u00a0They have a great message too- &#8220;do what you love, love what you do.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_4926.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1353\" alt=\"IMG_4926\" src=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_4926-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_4926-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/IMG_4926-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As their company has grew, <a title=\"LIG\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lifeisgood.com\/on\/demandware.store\/Sites-LIG-Site\/default\/Default-Start\" target=\"_blank\">Life is Good<\/a> started a foundation to help children less fortunate. \u00c2\u00a0To raise funds, they host a great big festival. \u00c2\u00a0My school and three others collaborated to host an activity. \u00c2\u00a0Last year we did the same. \u00c2\u00a0Our activity was based on the idea that Montessori education is like &#8220;thinking outside the box.&#8221; \u00c2\u00a0We had large cardboard boxes, colorful duct tape and markers. \u00c2\u00a0And kids got to work!
