{"id":1236,"date":"2013-08-13T18:27:15","date_gmt":"2013-08-13T22:27:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/?p=1236"},"modified":"2013-08-14T10:47:50","modified_gmt":"2013-08-14T14:47:50","slug":"summer-in-the-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/?p=1236","title":{"rendered":"Summer in the City"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_4298.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"IMG_4298\" src=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_4298-300x300.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Who needs to go anywhere when we live in such a beautiful place?<\/p>\n<p>One of the best afternoons with the kids was a recent trip we took to the Charles River. \u00c2\u00a0We took the T (always and adventure and something all three boys enjoy more than I do). \u00c2\u00a0We brought lunches and had a picnic looking out over a beautiful summer day. \u00c2\u00a0We watched kayakers and boats go by- and promised to try kayaking as a family soon. \u00c2\u00a0Then we went to the park and played. \u00c2\u00a0And even though Aidan got banged up on the climbing structure, it was a fun day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_4297.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1238\" alt=\"IMG_4297\" src=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_4297-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_4297-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_4297-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There has also been time to enjoy swimming at the yacht club, and more recently an adventure tubing. \u00c2\u00a0The boys loved it (Bren was a little nervous). \u00c2\u00a0A fun way to end a summer day in a place we love and call home.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_44471.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1243\" alt=\"IMG_4447\" src=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_44471-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_44471-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_44471-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>You can see our house and Nana and Papa watching (and the boys waving!)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who needs to go anywhere when we live in such a beautiful place?
