Aidan started swimming lessons in water babies at six months old.\u00c2\u00a0 We could only find one place that would start classes then and he seemed to love it.\u00c2\u00a0 We loved the teacher.\u00c2\u00a0 When she switched to the YMCA in Dorchester, we followed. \u00c2\u00a0Almost eight years later, she is a great family friend.\u00c2\u00a0 She even attended Bren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s drama performance!<\/p>\n
But it is the end of an era.\u00c2\u00a0 With the move to first grade coming and schedules and lessons at the Condon available, the time is right to finish up on Saturday mornings.\u00c2\u00a0 So bittersweet.\u00c2\u00a0 We have loved seeing Ms. Siobhan every week.\u00c2\u00a0 And all the families we have come to know too.\u00c2\u00a0 We love that the kids have had a chance to learn about swimming but also made friends with lots of kids who don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t necessarily look like them.\u00c2\u00a0 Aidan finished up at the Y almost two years ago and sees some swimming lesson friends- at swim meets!\u00c2\u00a0 Our time with Saturday morning swimming lessons may be over but they will always hold a special place in our hearts right along with the friendships we have made.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
