{"id":1028,"date":"2013-01-01T09:51:05","date_gmt":"2013-01-01T14:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/?p=1028"},"modified":"2013-01-17T14:53:59","modified_gmt":"2013-01-17T19:53:59","slug":"our-2012-christmas-card","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/?p=1028","title":{"rendered":"Our 2012 Christmas Card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/?attachment_id=1029\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1029\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1029\" alt=\"IMG_3120\" src=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_3120-214x300.jpg\" width=\"214\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_3120-214x300.jpg 214w, https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_3120-732x1024.jpg 732w, https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_3120.jpg 1912w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 214px) 100vw, 214px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps deserving of its own post?<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s no secret we enjoy a good laugh.\u00c2\u00a0 And it seems that everyone got a good laugh from this year&#8217;s Christmas card.<\/p>\n<p>I came across a <a title=\"Blog\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/creative-kids-photography-jason-lee\/\" target=\"_blank\">blog<\/a> during the summer.\u00c2\u00a0 It featured a Dad who takes pictures of his daughters in funny ways.\u00c2\u00a0 I loved the picture of the older girl taping the younger one to a wall.\u00c2\u00a0 Seemed perfect for our kids.\u00c2\u00a0 I sent it to our friend <a title=\"Brendan\" href=\"http:\/\/www.symbolphoto.com\" target=\"_blank\">Brendan<\/a> who took our awesome 2011 Christmas card pictures and asked if he thought it would be possible.\u00c2\u00a0 You know you have a good friend when he immediately says &#8220;of course we can tape your kid to my wall!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We had Brendan stand on a box as we taped him up.\u00c2\u00a0 Then put Aidan in place.\u00c2\u00a0 Then as the box was kicked out, we hoped that at least one of the pictures would work!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/?attachment_id=1030\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1030\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1030\" alt=\"IMG_2301\" src=\"http:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2301-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2301-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.obriensr.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_2301-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The picture was posted on <a title=\"FB pic\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?fbid=4178180726556&amp;set=t.711180982&amp;type=3&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a> and immediately got lots of likes as well as messages and texts.\u00c2\u00a0 We knew it would be a hit!<\/p>\n<p>Now we need to start planning for next year!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perhaps deserving of its own post?
